Sara, introduce yourself!

My name is Sara Gardner and I am the girl behind Charming Sarabellas Custom Jewelry. I am originally from northern California and go back as frequently as I can. I attended UVU and received my bachelors in psychology along with my husband Ryan. As soon as we graduated, we started our family and now have 3 incredible kids. They are seriously my most favorite humans in the whole world.

Where did your creative spark begin and can you trace your path to where you are today?

I come from a family of entrepreneurs and makers… That’s kind of where all this began.

What do you love most about being a handmade artisan?

I have always needed some kind of creative outlet. Whether it be painting, drawing, pottery, cooking, decorating, building, teaching etc… Jewelry making has been in there as well. So, when I became a stay at home mom, I needed to find something that kept that part of my brain busy. I started out making pieces for myself and some friends and really fell in love with it. I then started my Etsy shop about 7 years ago.

How did you choose the name for your business?

My grandpa always used to call me Sarabella, so I swore that would be the name of any business I owned.

What do you love most about what you create?

My favorite part of making these pieces is that each one is unique and personal. I also really love creating things that can be given as gifts and convey love and sentiment, especially in those hard situations that you don’t always know what to do or say.

What do you love most about being a handmade artisan?

I feel incredibly blessed that I can do something that I love to do and at the same time, create something that will be loved by my amazing customers.

How can people get in touch with you?

You can find me and my work in my Etsy shop and on Instagram!
