Meet Becky, a handmade artist who loves quilting and wants you to love it as well!
Learn more about her and her wonderful quilting patterns by reading our interview with her below. We are excited that she will be a part of Handmade this April!
Becky, please introduce yourself!
My name is Becky. I am a quiet and creative quilter, a mother of two outgoing girls and wife of the most awesome husband!
Where did your creative spark begin and can you trace your path to where you are today?
I started quilting in high school when my home economics teacher decided that she couldn’t teach me anything else. I still have that first quilt that I made.
I picked it back up after I got married and my husband said I needed a hobby (I blame him for my obsession.)
What do you create and what makes it so special?
I have always loved to draw my own patterns.
I love seeing something and figuring out how I would make it into a quilt.
What do you love most about what you create?
I love seeing my daughters want to sew and follow in my footsteps.
They are so proud of their first quilts!
What has led you to where you are now in your business?
I have been participating in craft fairs for about 10 years but have recently shifted my focus back to the quilting industry that I love!
I make and sell quilting patterns that a wide range of people love and use.
They are easy enough for beginning quilters and hard enough to entertain all the advanced quilters out there.
I love what I do and I hope you do too!
